Tolkien fans and families living in the vicinity of the Boxerwood Nature Center and Woodland Garden near Lexington, VA will be treated to a performance by Middle-earth Studios’ interactive theater at the 12th annual Fall Family Festival on Saturday, September 17.
The Middle-earth interactive theater was founded by Carl and Patricia Odhner in 1978. Their shows include audience participation and are designed for family fun.

The Rockbridge Weekly recently published a writeup on the impending event. Middle-earth Theater performed at the 2009 Boxerwood Festival and was a smash hit with the audience, according to all accounts.
